Before you get started
Does this work with .doc files?
No. Open older .doc files in Word or LibreOffice and save a .docx copy first. Encrypted files, embedded programs and embedded objects are not supported.
Will my document keep every detail?
No. This browser converter creates a simplified layout. For an exact PDF of a complex Word layout, use Export to PDF in the application that created it. Links are converted to plain text, without fetching external content.
Which languages are supported?
The bundled PDF fonts support Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text, including many European accents. Complex scripts and emoji are not supported; the converter reports an error instead of silently replacing unsupported characters.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Selected file contents are processed in your browser. Normal page requests still reach the hosting provider. Use a trusted device and keep your originals.
