A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to compress a JPG to 10–50 KB

Many recruitment and admission forms accept a signature between 10 KB and 50 KB. This page keeps that range and turns on black and white for clean ink.

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 300 MB. The 10–50 KB limit is already selected.
  2. Keep the size, or enter the pixels or centimetres your form asks for.
  3. For a signature or document, tick Black and white for sharper lines.
  4. Press Compress image, check that it says “Under 10–50 KB” and the preview looks clear, then download.

WaterPDF finds the highest JPG quality that fits. If you keep the original size and that is not enough, the picture is made smaller in pixels. Your original image is never changed.

Questions about 10–50 KB limits

How do I resize a signature to 10–50 KB?

Sign with a dark pen on white paper, take a straight photo in good light, choose it above and press Compress image. The 10–50 KB range is already selected.

What size should the signature be in pixels or cm?

It depends on the form. Check its notification and type those numbers under Pixels or Centimetres.

My signature comes out too light.

Keep Black and white ticked and sign with a darker pen. Shadows on the paper also lighten the ink, so photograph it near a window.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Selected file contents are processed in your browser. Normal page requests still reach the hosting provider. Use a trusted device and keep your originals.
