How to compress a JPG to 30 KB
A 30 KB limit fits a clear passport-size photo or a short scanned document at form sizes.
Resizing a photo to 30 KB, reducing image size to 30 KB and a photo KB reducer all mean the same: a JPG file of 30 KB or less.
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 300 MB. The 30 KB limit is already selected.
- Keep the size, or enter the pixels or centimetres your form asks for.
- For a signature or document, tick Black and white for sharper lines.
- Press Compress image, check that it says “Under 30 KB” and the preview looks clear, then download.
WaterPDF finds the highest JPG quality that fits. If you keep the original size and that is not enough, the picture is made smaller in pixels. Your original image is never changed.
