How to convert JPG to WebP
WebP pictures are often a quarter to a third smaller than JPG at the same visible quality, so pages load faster. All current browsers show WebP.

Pictures keep their width and height in pixels and are converted on your device, never uploaded. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white; PNG and WebP keep it.
