How to increase a photo size to 100 KB
A 100 KB minimum is common for document photos and ID scans. This page raises your picture to at least 100 KB and shows a preview before you download.
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP photo or signature. 100 KB is already selected.
- Keep the size, or enter the pixels or centimetres your form asks for.
- Press Increase size, check that it says “At least 100 KB” and the preview looks right, then download.
WaterPDF saves the picture at a higher quality first. If it is still smaller, empty space is added inside the JPG, so the picture looks exactly the same. Your original image is never changed.
What happens with 100 KB?
| Your picture | At least 100 KB |
|---|---|
| Photo of 20–90 KB | Raised to at least 100 KB |
| Document photo from a phone | Usually already over 100 KB |
| JPG already over 100 KB | Kept as it is |
