A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to increase a PDF size to 100 KB

A one-page certificate or a text PDF is often only 20–60 KB, but some portals ask for at least 100 KB. This page keeps 100 KB selected and grows the file without touching its pages.

  1. Choose your PDF. 100 KB is already selected.
  2. Press Increase size.
  3. Check that the result says “At least 100 KB”, then download and upload it to your form.

WaterPDF adds empty space at the end of the PDF until it reaches the size. Pages, text, links, forms and quality stay exactly as they were. Your original file is never changed.

Questions about 100 KB sizes

How do I make a PDF 100 KB?

Choose your PDF above. 100 KB is already selected. Press Increase size and download. The result shows the new size, just over 100 KB.

Is 100 KB counted as 100,000 or 102,400 bytes?

Forms use both. WaterPDF makes the file at least 102,400 bytes, so it is at least 100 KB either way.

Will my PDF look different?

No. Nothing on the pages is redrawn. Empty space is added at the end of the file, which PDF readers skip.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Selected file contents are processed in your browser. Normal page requests still reach the hosting provider. Use a trusted device and keep your originals.
