How to compress a JPG to 50 KB
A 50 KB limit is common for application photos and scanned ID cards. It leaves room for a clear face photo at the usual form sizes.
Resizing a photo to 50 KB, reducing image size to 50 KB and a photo KB reducer all mean the same: a JPG file of 50 KB or less.
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 300 MB. The 50 KB limit is already selected.
- Keep the size, or enter the pixels or centimetres your form asks for.
- For a signature or document, tick Black and white for sharper lines.
- Press Compress image, check that it says “Under 50 KB” and the preview looks clear, then download.
WaterPDF finds the highest JPG quality that fits. If you keep the original size and that is not enough, the picture is made smaller in pixels. Your original image is never changed.
