How to excel to pdf
- Choose a real XLSX workbook, up to 25 MB.
- Choose all visible worksheets, the first sheet or an exact sheet name. Select paper size and orientation.
- Create the PDF locally and check the output. Wide sheets continue in panels of up to 10 columns.
Creates a simplified table layout from visible cells. Hidden rows, columns and sheets, charts, pictures, original formatting and print areas are not included. Formulas use saved results and are never calculated. Legacy .xls, macros and encrypted files are not supported.
Before you get started
Will this look exactly like Excel print preview?
No. It creates a readable table layout and splits wide sheets into column panels. For original print settings, use Export to PDF in Excel or LibreOffice.
Why does a formula need a saved result?
This browser converter does not run formulas or fetch linked workbooks. Open the workbook in Excel or LibreOffice, recalculate and save it before converting.
How large can my workbook be?
Up to 25 MB compressed input, 100 MB expanded package, 50,000 cells, 20 visible worksheets and 200 output pages. A worksheet can contain up to 10,000 rows and 100 columns. Device memory can impose lower limits.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. Selected file contents are processed in your browser. Normal page requests still reach the hosting provider. Use a trusted device and keep your originals.
