A FEW SIMPLE STEPS

How to convert HEIC to JPG

  1. Choose one or more HEIC or HEIF photos, up to 100 MB each.
  2. Pick JPG for the widest support, or PNG for lossless pictures.
  3. Press Convert to JPG. One photo downloads as a picture; several come in one ZIP with their original names.

HEIC is the photo format iPhones and iPads use by default. Many websites, Windows apps and forms do not accept it. The conversion runs in your browser with a bundled HEIC engine, so your photos are not uploaded. Location and camera details are not copied into the new file.

Before you get started

How do I convert HEIC to JPG for free?

Choose your HEIC photos above and press Convert to JPG. It works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a phone or a computer, without installing an app or signing up.

Why does my iPhone take HEIC photos?

HEIC files are about half the size of JPG at similar quality. To get JPG from the camera instead, open Settings, Camera, Formats on the iPhone and choose Most Compatible.

Are location and camera details kept?

No. The new JPG or PNG holds only the picture, which is safer to share. Keep the original HEIC if you need its details.

Can I convert several HEIC photos at once?

Yes. Choose them together. They download in one ZIP file, each with its original name and a .jpg or .png ending.

Are my documents uploaded?

No. Selected file contents are processed in your browser. Normal page requests still reach the hosting provider. Use a trusted device and keep your originals.
