Your files belong to you.
WaterPDF processes selected documents locally. You shouldn’t have to send a document away to do a small job.
Documents and signatures
Document contents, previews and drawn or typed signature images are held in this browser tab’s memory. This app does not upload them, save them to a document database or persist them in local storage. Closing the tab releases the app’s working session. Downloads remain wherever your browser saves them.
Device access
You choose individual files through the system file picker. The app does not request contacts, location, camera, microphone, notification or full-gallery access. Drawing a signature uses pointer input, not access to a stored signature.
Page requests and hosting
Opening the site sends ordinary page and asset requests to its hosting provider, including connection data such as an IP address and requested URL. Hosting logs and browser extensions are outside the local document-processing promise. No analytics or advertising SDK is installed in the application.
Locally bundled tools
PDF libraries, the page-rendering worker, icons and styles are bundled with the site. It does not load fonts or PDF code from third-party CDNs. Security headers restrict document-processing network connections on supported hosting.
Plans and sponsorship
Premium and PayPal payments are not active in this preview. No billing details are collected by this release. The planned daily allowance is not enforced until paid access is available. The current app stores no usage counter or Premium flag in browser storage. A real, clearly labelled sponsor link may appear on public information pages when a campaign is configured; it does not load a third-party script or receive your documents. Opening it is your choice.
Optional sharing and feedback
If you choose Share PDF, your device passes the generated file to the app you select. No share is started automatically. Feedback is written and reviewed on your device, then downloaded as a local report. No report is sent to an external service or private code repository. No document or filename is attached automatically.
Important limits
No system can guarantee absolute security. Use a trusted device and browser, and keep originals. Edited PDFs can lose digital signature validity. Crop is not redaction, drawn marks do not verify identity, and image compression can remove document features. The relevant tool explains its trade-offs.
